Patch Notes v1.0.2.19 – New Map, Unit and Card Adjustments, and Bug Fixes

We just released a new patch for Legends of Callasia which includes a new map, Revenant and Stoneborne adjustments, bug fixes, and more! Now also available on Android phones!

  • Units
    • Revenant
      • Reduced Wraith’s Def to 3 from 4.
      • Reduced Death Knights Def to 42 from 44.
    • Stoneborne
    • Fixed bug with Karol’s starting army being all melee units.
    • Adjusted Defender stats to 15 atk/23 def from 18 atk/20 def
    • Adjusted Onager stats to 15 atk/15 def from 13 atk/13 def
  • Cards
    • Adjusted Earthquake card to also prevent army movement
    • Adjusted Scavengers card to be available to all factions
    • Adjusted Raise the Dead card to only last 1 turn
    • Fixed issue with Bribery also affecting player when played on a battle with neutrals
  • Maps
    • Added Lake Aquil (4P) map.
    • Added North Sweetpine to Kingdom of Caglia to properly follow the kingdom border
  • Other
    • Fixed miscellaneous reported bugs.
    • Do not trigger suspicious behaviour notification from own activities.
    • Fix various issues when dragging long paths.
    • Remove awakening sickness which makes newly-awakened heroes act last in initiative order.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.18 – Bug Fixes and Network Improvements

We just released a new patch for Legends of Callasia to fix bugs and improve network synchronization.

  • General
    • Fixed Dwarf Neutral armies.
    • Fixed Revenant army issue for Tutorial.
    • Adjusted Katmons Isles for balancing and updated map thumbnail to properly show starting positions.
  • Units
    • Revenant
      • Wraith – Adjusted Atk to 6 from 7.
  • Cards
    • Fixed issue with Territorial Oppression which made its effect last the entire battle. It should now only last 1 turn.
  • Other Adjustments
    • Improved networking stability and synchronization.

New Update (v1.0.2.17), Google Play Release, and Brand New Tournament

Hey Callasians!

Today’s update includes balancing adjustments for the Revenant faction and several bug fixes. But more importantly, the game is now on Google Play and we’re having a free-for-all tournament on all platforms to celebrate, with cool prizes such Steam keys, X-Split licenses, and more. Watch out for a 24-hour livestream on TowerRushChannel on Sunday, 6:30AM EST.

If you have an Android tablet, you can download the game for free and log in using the same account from the Steam or iOS version and carry over your game progress.

Leaderboards will be reset and qualifying rounds for the tournament will begin on December 9, 2016 (GMT +8). The top 16 players at the end of the first round will move on to the next phase: the single-elimination 1v1 matches using standard brackets. Full mechanics here: http://legends.boomzap.com/contests/

Patch Notes v1.0.2.16 – New Team System, Revenant Adjustments, and The Stoneborne DLC

Legends of Callasia’s first expansion pack is here, centered around a new playable Faction: the Dwarves, also known as the Stoneborne!

The new DLC contains as much content as 1/3 of the main game, including a new campaign, 11 playable Stoneborne heroes, 20 new maps, underground seasons, over 20 new cards, new emblems, new achievements, and a new enemy faction, the Cavespawn.

To purchase the DLC, you can click on the Buy Now button in-game if you have the full version, or go directly to the DLC page linked above. A default set of four Stoneborne heroes and the first Stoneborne campaign will be available to all users as a free demo. You can also play in any of the new maps, if the game is hosted by a player who already owns the DLC. Kickstarter backers will receive an email with their Steam keys this week.

      • Dwarf Fury – All Friendly Defenders and Tunnelers on target territory gain Rampage (+50% ATK while defending) for 1 turn.
      • Set Pikes – Doubles Terrain defense bonuses for 1 turn.
      • Scavengers – Receive x2 gold for Pillaging target territory.
      • Cannons – All Friendly Missile Troops gain Barrage (deal full damage to one target, and 50% damage to up to 1-3 other targets.) for 1 turn.
      • Reinforce Gunners – Reinforce your territory or Hero with 15 Gunners. Can be played on Ally’s Hero to reinforce with units of equivalent class.
      • Reinforce Defenders – Reinforce your territory or Hero with 6 Defenders. Can be played on Ally’s Hero to reinforce with units of equivalent class.
      • Reinforce Sappers – Reinforce your territory or Hero with 3 Sappers. Can be played on Ally’s Hero to reinforce with units of equivalent class.
      • Earthquake – All Enemy troops on target territory take 15% damage. If played on Hills or Broken lands, deal 30% damage instead.
    • New Cards
      • Locusts – Gold production in Target Kingdom is reduced by 50% for 1 turn. If played during Summer, gold production is reduced by 75%.
      • Blizzard – All movement in Target Kingdom is cancelled. If played during Winter, also deals 15% damage to all armies.
      • Second Harvest – Gold production in Target Kingdom is increased by 100% for 1 turn. If played during Autumn, gold production is increased by 150%.
      • Plague – All units present in Target Kingdom take 15% damage. If played during Spring, deals 30% damage instead.
      • Fighting Retreat – Nullifies defense penalty when retreating from a battle. Your Hero must be in retreating stance for the card to take effect.
      • To the Rescue – Instantly move target Friendly Heroes to the nearest battle your other Heroes are in.
      • Break Free – Breaks up a battle and forces Friendly Heroes to move to a random adjacent territory. This card can also break the To the Death effect.
      • Swords to Plowshares – Converts a Tower, Fortress, or Citadel to its equivalent Hamlet-type improvement.
      • War Industry – Converts a Hamlet, Village, or Town to its equivalent Tower-type improvement.
      • Market Fair – Increase gold production by 150% on territories containing a Tower-type or Hamlet-type improvement in target Kingdom for 1 turn.
      • Territorial Oppression – Reduces target territory’s HP to 1 for 1 turn.
      • Resurrection – Instantly resurrects a defeated Hero. If there’s more than one defeated Hero, resurrect a random Hero.
    • Card Changes
      • Adjusted card weight for Lost and Misdirection so they don’t appear as often.
      • Adjusted card weight for Raise the Dead so it should appear more often.
      • Fixed Paralyze card issue not cancelling actions made by heroes.
  • Other Adjustments
    • Added new Profile emblems.
    • Added new Chat emoticons.
    • Fixed issues regarding non-playable heroes not appearing in the Encyclopedia.


Patch Notes v1.0.2.14 – Card FX and Siege Master Change

We just a dropped a relatively small update that includes a rework on Siege Master hero trait, some new Card FX, and other bug fixes.

  • Heroes
    • Reworked how Siege Master works. It now provides a x1.75 multiplier to DEF bonuses that a City or Tower-type improvement provides. The multiplier will only be in effect if the Hero is standing on a territory with a City or Tower-type improvement.
  • Cards
    • Added special effects to most cards to better show what they do. For example, if you use a +ATK or +DEF card, once it gets played you’ll see a Sword or Shield icon respectively.
  • Other Adjustments
    • Text adjustments for some territories and in-game messages.
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and network optimizations.
