Price Change and Callasia Art Challenge (iPad Launch and Tournament postponed)

FacebookTwitterGoogle+Share

Due to last minute technical issues, we will be postponing the iPad launch to September 8. We want to make sure everything is in order when we welcome our new players! Unfortunately this means postponing some of the things we’ve planned for this week, but we are still pushing through with the art contest, the Stoneborne party, and most importantly, the new retail price.

Price Change

You asked, we listened: You wanted more players, and we’re looking for ways to deliver them. As Legends of Callasia moves to a true cross platform release on iOS, we’re dropping the price to make an even more successful release on that platform – and matching that price on Steam. Effective today, Legends of Callasia will be available for a list price of $14.99 USD. Like always, you only need to pay once to get the game in all platforms (PC, Mac, and iOS – soon on Android).

As a special thank you for supporting us early on, players who purchased the game before the price change will receive the limited edition heroes from Early Access: Val of Hundred Kingdoms, Tigris of Faeborne, and SkeleKing of Revenant. We will announce when the heroes are added to your accounts.

Art Contest

We are inviting artists to create artworks for the Legends of Callasia Art Challenge! Interested participants must join our Discord server (http://discord.me/legendsofcallasia) and show their first WIP by September 23, and submit their final artworks on October 7.

Postponed Events

To give everyone a fair chance for the tournament, we are postponing the leaderboard reset until the iPad version is launched. We also won’t be doing a 24-hour livestream this week, but the Stoneborne Kickstarter party will continue on August 30, 10PM EST on Twitch (http://www.twitch.tv/legendsofcallasia)!

For comments and suggestions, drop by our Discord server (discord.me/legendsofcallasia) and watch our livestreams on Twitch (twitch.tv/legendsofcallasia) – we have a 24-hour marathon to celebrate the iOS launch! Patch Notes v1.0.2.14 – Card FX and Siege Master Change

We just a dropped a relatively small update that includes a rework on Siege Master hero trait, some new Card FX, and other bug fixes.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.14

  • Heroes
    • Reworked how Siege Master works. It now provides a x1.75 multiplier to DEF bonuses that a City or Tower-type improvement provides. The multiplier will only be in effect if the Hero is standing on a territory with a City or Tower-type improvement.
  • Cards
    • Added special effects to most cards to better show what they do. For example, if you use a +ATK or +DEF card, once it gets played you’ll see a Sword or Shield icon respectively.
  • Other Adjustments
    • Text adjustments for some territories and in-game messages.
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and network optimizations.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.13 – New Tutorial and Bug Fixes

We just released a new update which adds a second tutorial for advanced gameplay and other bug fixes.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.13

  • Campaign
    • Fixed broken objective for Faeborne campaign 6.
    • Text fixes for Faeborne Campaign 9.
    • Added tutorial 2 “The Katmon Isles”.
  • Other Adjustments
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and ui adjustments.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.12 – In-Game Encyclopedia and Card Changes

We just updated Legends of Callasia to v1.0.2.12. This update contains a bunch of changes to card usability as we’re now allowing Reinforce and “Battle” (those that affect battles) cards to be played on Allies. We’ve also added an In-Game Encyclopedia where you can view Hero, Units, Cards, and Structure information without having to go in a game.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.12

  • General
    • Added In-Game Encyclopedia. The Encyclopedia contains Hero, Units, Cards, and Structure data and can be accessed from the Main Menu.
  • Cards
    • All Reinforce cards (including Creeping Death) can now be played on Ally’s Heroes. If you and your ally are using different races, the card automatically converts the units to the recipient’s race (i.e. A Faeborne player uses a Reinforce Phoenixes on a Revenant ally, the Revenant ally gets Wyverns instead of Phoenixes).
    • Cards that directly affect battles can now also be played on Allies. Below is the list of affected cards.
      • Rallying Cry
      • Flaming Missiles
      • Shieldbearers
      • Fine Armor
      • Raise The Dead
      • Forced March
      • Trample
      • Charge
  • Other Adjustments
    • Improved Network Turn Synching.
    • Possible fix for Player orders being dropped. If you still encounter this issue after this patch, please send us an In-Game Feedback or email us atlegends@boomzap.com.
    • Fixed the visual bug for Starting Gold that occurred when changing Player Color.
    • Adjusted Hero, Card, and Structure description for better messaging.
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and network optimizations.
