Patch Notes v1.0.2.14 – Card FX and Siege Master Change

FacebookTwitterGoogle+Share

We just a dropped a relatively small update that includes a rework on Siege Master hero trait, some new Card FX, and other bug fixes.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.14

  • Heroes
    • Reworked how Siege Master works. It now provides a x1.75 multiplier to DEF bonuses that a City or Tower-type improvement provides. The multiplier will only be in effect if the Hero is standing on a territory with a City or Tower-type improvement.
  • Cards
    • Added special effects to most cards to better show what they do. For example, if you use a +ATK or +DEF card, once it gets played you’ll see a Sword or Shield icon respectively.
  • Other Adjustments
    • Text adjustments for some territories and in-game messages.
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and network optimizations.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.12 – In-Game Encyclopedia and Card Changes

We just updated Legends of Callasia to v1.0.2.12. This update contains a bunch of changes to card usability as we’re now allowing Reinforce and “Battle” (those that affect battles) cards to be played on Allies. We’ve also added an In-Game Encyclopedia where you can view Hero, Units, Cards, and Structure information without having to go in a game.

Patch Notes v1.0.2.12

  • General
    • Added In-Game Encyclopedia. The Encyclopedia contains Hero, Units, Cards, and Structure data and can be accessed from the Main Menu.
  • Cards
    • All Reinforce cards (including Creeping Death) can now be played on Ally’s Heroes. If you and your ally are using different races, the card automatically converts the units to the recipient’s race (i.e. A Faeborne player uses a Reinforce Phoenixes on a Revenant ally, the Revenant ally gets Wyverns instead of Phoenixes).
    • Cards that directly affect battles can now also be played on Allies. Below is the list of affected cards.
      • Rallying Cry
      • Flaming Missiles
      • Shieldbearers
      • Fine Armor
      • Raise The Dead
      • Forced March
      • Trample
      • Charge
  • Other Adjustments
    • Improved Network Turn Synching.
    • Possible fix for Player orders being dropped. If you still encounter this issue after this patch, please send us an In-Game Feedback or email us atlegends@boomzap.com.
    • Fixed the visual bug for Starting Gold that occurred when changing Player Color.
    • Adjusted Hero, Card, and Structure description for better messaging.
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and network optimizations.

Boomzap launches Kickstarter campaign for Legends of Callasia expansion [Press Release]

A new Dwarf faction called the Stoneborne is currently in development with new heroes, campaigns, underground maps, and more!

July 21, 2016, Singapore – After launching fantasy-themed strategy game Legends of Callasia on Steam last month, Southeast Asian game studio Boomzap Entertainment returns to Kickstarter for the crowdfunding of a new expansion pack, which introduces a new playable faction, the Stoneborne, also known as Dwarves.

Legends of Callasia is a world conquest game inspired by classic turn-based strategy games like Civilization, Heroes of Might & Magic, and Risk. Players control heroes from their chosen faction, occupy territories, and control kingdoms in a tabletop-style map with bonus cards that may alter the course of battle. Its original simultaneous gameplay mechanic keeps games moving quickly, even in multiplayer mode while adding deep strategy elements.

Named Legends of Callasia: The Stoneborne, the expansion will include content based on players’ feedback: new heroes, cards, maps, and campaigns for the formerly non-playable faction, the Dwarves. The story of Stoneborne will follow their journey underground and their encounters with a new enemy, the Cavespawn.

By supporting the Kickstarter campaign, backers can pre-order copies of the main game and the expansion pack as well as have their names included in the game as heroes, territories, and kingdoms.

Boomzap has set a funding goal of $2,500 USD, and pledges start at $5. Those interested may download a free demo to the main game, which already includes a glimpse of some of the Dwarven heroes in campaign mode. Legends of Callasia is available for $24.99 USD on Steam, and will be coming soon to iPad and Android tablets. More details available at legends.boomzap.com.
